The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Lourde Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) focuses on developing strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities among students. The department provides a solid foundation in core areas such as Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Graph Theory, enabling students to build strong quantitative and reasoning skills.
The curriculum also introduces important statistical concepts including Descriptive Statistics, Statistical Inference, Probability Distributions, Hypothesis Testing, Correlation and Regression Analysis, and Time Series Analysis.
