Ms. Shalu Devasia is a dedicated academic professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor , Department of Commerce at our esteemed institution. With over 2 years of teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Prior to joining our institution, Ms. Shalu Devasia served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Navajyothi College and Newman College. Her passion for education extends beyond borders, having accumulated one year of non-teaching experience abroad. Ms. Shalu Devasia embarked on her teaching career as an Assistant Professor at Newman College Thodupuzha. She holds B.Ed. degree from Tamil Nādu Teachers Education, M. Com from Sree Kerala Varma College Thrissur, and BCom in Finance and Taxation from Sacred Heart College Thevara. Her academic prowess is further underscored by qualifying in UGC-NET and clearing LBS SET. Actively engaged in research, Ms. Shalu Devasia has presented scholarly papers at prestigious conferences. Notable among them are "Investors Attitude towards Mutual Fund Investment" at the KSHEC sponsored international conference on Changing Financial Scenario in India conducted by MES Asmabi College Thrissur, and "A Study on Customer Consumers Behaviour towards Biodegradable carry bags – A substitute for polythene bags" at the two-day international seminar on Emerging Trends in Commerce and Management conducted by NSS College, Palakkad. Her commitment to education is exemplified through her guidance of student projects at both UG and PG levels.
